Home Inspection Services
We visually inspect both the inside and outside of a home, focusing on the following systems to identify significant issues, safety concerns, or fire hazards. Our goal is to provide clients with a detailed report and recommendations for their consideration during the buying or selling process. This customized report, complete with site inspection photos, is delivered electronically within 2-3 business days.
-Heating and Ventilation
-Cooling and Heat Pumps
-Plumbing
-Electrical
-Interior/Exterior
-Roofing
Our Inspection tools include:
A thermal imaging camera, which spots potential hidden water leaks by detecting temperature differences between water and surrounding materials. It can also identify areas with missing insulation in walls or ceilings, although it may not find every existing defect. We also use a moisture meter to non-destructively measure moisture levels in wood and building materials like drywall, plaster, concrete, and mortar. Electrical testers verify amperage, circuits, and fuses, and help detect common wiring issues in receptacles. Finally, a multi-functional indoor air quality (IAQ) detector measures levels of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, formaldehyde, airborne pollutants, and PM 2.5 particulates.
